It is primarily an anti-anxiety drug with similar side effects to diazepam (Valium). In addition to being used to treat anxiety or panic attacks, bromazepam can be used as a medication before minor surgery. Bromazepam usually comes in doses of 3 mg and 6 mg tablets.
